Former Vanderbilt University coach Jan Van Breda Kolff has been named coach of the Nashville Broncs of the American Basketball Association. Van Breda Kolff also was coach at Cornell University, and was an assistant for several NBA teams. He also played in the NBA and overseas.
Former University of Vermont guard T.J. Sorrentine has signed with Krka of Slovenia.
Former Boston College swingman Sean Marshall has re-signed with Greek club Karsiyaka. Marshall averaged 18.8 points per game on 57 percent shooting from the floor last season.
Ex-NBA guard Harold Jamison has signed a one-year contract extension with Carife Ferrara of the Italian league.
JUNE 11
Former University of Florida guard Justin Hamilton has signed a contract extension with Spirou Charleroi of Belgium. According to Eurobasket.com, the team is also negotiating with ex-Gators and NBA swingman Matt Walsh.
Former Kent State University guard Jay Youngblood has signed a one-year contract extension with Oberwart of the Austrian league. Youngblood averaged 24 points on 50 percent shooting from the field this past season.
Former Louisville forward Nate Johnson has signed a three-year contract with
Al Riyadi Beirut of the Lebanese league.
Ex-NBA guard Sarunas Jasikevicius has been named Greek League Player of the Year by Eurobasket.com. Jasikevicius spent the season with Panathinaikos Athens. Former Atlanta Hawks guard Anthony Grundy (N.C. State) was named to the honorable mention list.

Former Villanova University forward Curtis Sumpter has left French club Vichy, according to reports.
Former NBA center Maciej Lampe (Poland) has signed a three-year contract extension with BC Khimky of the Russian league. Lampe played in the NBA from 2003-06 with Phoenix, New Orleans and Houston.
German club BG 74 Goettingen has signed former Santa Clara guard Kyle Bailey.
MAY 28
Former Kent State University guard Jay Youngblood has been named MVP of the Austrian league. Youngblood averaged just more than 20 points per game in leading Oberwart to the title. He has also played in Poland and the IBL.
Former Northern Iowa University guard Ben Jacobson has received a contract extension from Goettingen of the German league.
MAY 26
Former NBA guard Guillermo Diaz (Miami, Fla.) scored 25 points and had five steals to lead Pepsi Caserta to a 79-73 win over Vanoli Soresina in the Italian league semifinals. With the win, Diaz and Caserta advance to the championship.
Croatian club Cibona Zagreb is interested in signing former NBA point guard Vonteego Cummings (Pittsburgh) according to various reports. Cummings played in the NBA from 1999-2002 with Golden State and Philadelphia.
Former University of Alabama forward/center Demetrius Alexander has been named the the FIBA Eurocup Import Player of the Year by Eurobasket. Alexander spent the past season playing for Barons/LMT Riga in Latvia.
MAY 23
Former Duke University and NBA guard Trajan Langdon has signed a two-year extension with Russian club CSKA Moscow. Langdon recently led the club to the Euroleague championship and was named MVP of its Final Four.
Former NBA guard Will Solomon scored 20 points to lift Fenerbahce over Efes Pilsen and into the Turkish league championship. Meanwhile, former University of Connecticut guard Khalid El-Amin is playing for Turk Telecom, which is playing in the semifinals.
Ex-Loyola of Chicago guard Blake Schlib is playing for Czeck club Nymburk. Former Hamton University forward Tarvis Williams is playing for Pardubice in the same league.
Former Georgia Tech and NBA guard Will Bynum spent this past season playing for Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Israel. Other American guards who played well in Israel include Steve Burtt (Iona) and Cookie Belcher (Nebraska).
Former NBA guard Laron Profit is playing in Argentina for Libertad Sunchales.

Former Syracuse University guard Gerry McNamara is playing for BK Ventspils of the Russian league.
Former Louisiana State University guard DeJuan Collins is playing for Lithuanian club Zalgiris.
Former Purdue University guard Willie Dean will not return to Bulgarian club Lukoil Akademik. Dean helped lead the team to its sixth straight championship earlier this week.
Former Wake Forest center Eric Williams is playing for Air Avellino of the Italian league.
