Earlier in day, the Lakers made a deal for Ramon Sessions to have three point guards on their team. So, it made sense that they would ship one out in another deal.
But no one expected that player to be Derek Fisher.
LA did just that, sending the veteran — and Kobe Bryant’s best friend on the team — to the Rockets for Jordan Hill and a first round pick according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
The Rockets also get Dallas’ first round pick in 2012 which the Lakers owned the rights to.
