Bad news for Warriors fans as Stephen Curry re-injured his already bad ankle on Monday night against the Bulls and now will sit out against the Knicks on Wednesday night according to his agent.

He was hobbled in Golden State’s opener on Sunday against the Clippers.  On Monday, Curry looked more like himself with 21 points and 10 assists in leading his team to a win over Chicago.

In the fourth quarter, he turned his ankle for the second time in a week and immediately left the game.  It’s good that he is taking a game off to be safe.  However, this has to be a scary situation for Curry and the Warriors as he dealt with ankle issues throughout his rookie season which forced him to have surgery over the summer.
